Andrew has worked tirelessly for over 20 years supporting and promoting the activities of SRS. The outgoing President, Chris Downes, presenting Andrew with a reminder of Shropshire, gave thanks for all his efforts over the years. In-coming President, Roger Parry, echoed Chris’ thanks for all the work that Andrew has done over the years. Also thanks were given to retiring Treasurer, Geoff Black, who has carefully husbanded the SRS finances for 20 years. Testimonials

When I retired I looked around to see how I could help local farmers as they battled with the ups and downs of farming and running their family businesses. As a volunteer with Shropshire Rural Support, I feel I can really help farmers who need someone to talk to who understands their situation. I find it rewarding to give a bit back to a way of life that has served me well and I love.
